If you establish your connection by starting Internet Explorer 4(IE4), Outlook Express(OE) or any other program(if you have these programs installed), you should get a pop-up window that asks if you want to close the connection when you close the  IE4 or OE. If you do, and click "Yes" the system Microsoft created works fine, if you don't, then you shouled answer no, and when youo are ready to close the connection, follow the easy steps below. This also works if you have started your connection from a shortcut on your desktop such as  [Click the image for shortcut help]

This is called disconnecting "manually" . If you don't know or aren't sure how to disconnect manually, it's not that hard. Here's how it works:
